Most winters our school has a few days off due to the snow. Some people like to use these days to catch up on their homework or other types of work, such as cleaning up around the house. I am not one of these people. Instead, I, along with other people like me, prefer to do things outside. Other outside people may like to take a walk with or without their dog or they may like to make things in the snow like snowmen and snow angles.
There are also other ways to enjoy the snow in a more exciting way. For example, some people like to have a snowball fight with friends or go sledding or snowboarding down a hill. Sledding and snowboarding are my favorite activities to do in the snow.
Snow days can also be a pain. Sometimes, when there is a lot of snow, it may take a lot of time and effort to clear snow from driveways or sidewalks with a snow shovel unless you have a snow blower. Snow days can also get repetitive if there are a lot of days off due to snow – a very unpleasant prospect.
Overall, snow days can be a nice break from work or school, but snow can sometimes be a cold and miserable experience.
